The existing masonry porch, entry stair, and railing system on this Historic Mansion failed to foundation and was badly in need of repair. The entire assembly was documented and then disassembled and removed. Solid State Architecture worked in collaboration with masons to on the detailing, repair, renovation and rebuild of the historic masonry porch and metal railing using contemporary methods while maintaining historic appearances. The project was on the Historic Register and carried a Historic review/approval thru the City of Milwaukee.
